SVG example

Scalable vector graphics (SVG) is a an XML (W3C) standard for refined 2D vector graphics. SVG files can be published directly on the web and many graphic programs are able to import this format. The diagram below and the two legends were created by Stratify. The Adobe SVG Viewer plugin is needed to view the diagrams.

Zooming and Panning

Options can be chosen from the flying menu that appears when you right-click in the Harris diagram window. You can also use the keyboard when the cursor is on the diagram. To zoom in, hold down the Ctrl key and draw a box or left-click. To zoom out, hold down both the Ctrl and Shift keys and left-click. To pan the diagram, hold down the Alt key and drag the mouse.

Working with SVG files

Inkscape is an Open Source vector graphics editor, with capabilities similar to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the SVG file format. You can use this free program to change and print Stratify SVG files.
Please note that Adobe has announced that it will discontinue support for Adobe SVG Viewer on January 1, 2009.
